it kinda irks me when people judge taylor swift so harshly about safe and sound being in the hunger games.
MOST hunger games fans LOVE the song and have nothing but good things to say.
but then there are those that are like “OH. TAYLOR SWIFT RUINED IT.
“oh it’s only good because of the civil wars”
or “well the civil wars DID write it. not taylor”
…juuuust stooop. just because she sings countryish and all her songs are mostly about love and what not. like come on. it doesn’t mean she’s a horrible writer.
and to address another thing. taylor was approached by lionsgate for the soundtrack. they didn’t approach civil wars. TAYLOR chose to collaborate with the civil wars and they BOTH wrote the song.
just give the girl the credit she deserves. it’s a beautiful song that is so hauntingly like the book that it’s just fabulous in every which way.

i’m sorry i had to. this made me laugh so hard.
everyone is entitled to their own opinion, but criticizing a book for being badly written when you yourself cannot write for crap, THAT makes me laugh.
and i don’t think i’ve once heard the hunger games compared to harry potter.
they’ve been compared to twilight plenty of times, and it’s shameful to do so. but to my knowledge, they have never been compared to harry potter.
THE POINT OF THIS: learn to write yourself before you criticize someone else for the inability to write. even if writing in english isn’t your first language, still don’t do it. write in your first language if you wish to criticize something. because no matter what, you will still look like an idiot.

i’ve been obsessed with braiding my hair recently
it started when i did these three fish tail braids on my hair for my brother’s wedding a few days ago…
and i know it’s not true because i hadn’t even finished the hunger games when i did my hair like that and started my love for braids, but i just thought..
what if subconsciously i’m putting my hair in a braid because katniss puts her hair in a braid…
